[new poem] Vague Fragrance Awakens, 08.07.09
Your vague fragrance awakens my amazement
Depths of breath warp the sleekness of your neck
So silent a song, I longingly guess
to what sweet whispers may slip from your lips
but only yet suggests
A response tempered by flinching reflex
in this fawning calm
A moment clear to harmonize
the subtle chorus resonating between us
Echoes through air, a web spun vibration
entangles our proximaties together
Shimmering (in moonlight) threads of knowing
dare not be broken, soft mysteries unspoken
A sigh of lungs drinks in our adulation like smoke
A hopeful tide rises with your chest
I ride this wavelength to its mighty crest
aroused lucid and pattering kisses
in a nebulous barrage of delirium
In term, transfixed, of a daydreamer’s forty winks
and yet but a blink
An instant nostalgia imprinted
on a hint of perfume
